MPORTANT NOTE: If you are using an iPhone with no 3.5mm jack (i.e., iPhone X), make sure that you are using the original Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter (or an equivalent adapters that can be connected to a microphone). Most replacement lightning to 3.5mm adapters are not capable of connecting to a microphone. Similarly, if you are using an Android device with no 3.5mm jack, make sure that you are using a USB C to 3.5mm adapter that can be connected to a microphone.
Instruction: plug the grey head (3 rings or TRRS side) into the iPhone or mic/headset jack that requires a TRRS input, and the black one into the mic. Great for connecting recording microphones with 3.5 TRS input into Smartphones, iPhone and other electronic devices with a 3.5 TRRS jack.
If you use the TRRS adapter cable on Android smartphones, please download an Audio APP like "Cinema fv-5", and set using external microphone system, because Android system defaulty using its own microphone.
