Normally yields 10 - 12 2-inch drop biscuits and ready in approximately 15 minutes. Julia's Pantry sources premium, all natural ingredients to craft our complete line of specialty products. We DO NOT use preservatives, trans fats or MSG. Each of our biscuit mixes are made using locally milled soft red winter wheat flour, cane sugar, real sweet cream buttermilk and real butter. Each bag of biscuit mix contains the equivalence of ½ stick of churned butter and ¾ cup of sweet cream buttermilk. Making Biscuits is truly an art form. The SECRET to making biscuits like Grandma's, fluffy layers on the inside and a thin crispy outer layer, is all in how you mix them. When adding the water and other ingredients, gently FOLD them together just until moistened. Place heaping tablespoons closely on baking sheet as this helps to make fluffy biscuits.BEWARE! DON'T over-stir batter or the biscuits will come out hard and crispy. DON'T add too much water or they will come out flat like a pancake.
