USAGE & STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
ARTSORB is recommended for use in well seasoned wood cigar humidors; otherwise the desired moisture level will be difficult to obtain.
ARTSORB is not intended as an insecticide or an anti-mold device.... Just three ounces of beads will humidify up to approx.1000 cubic inches of space. You can use more beads than the recommended amount. The use of additional beads will give you more moisture storage and help the humidor recover quicker when it has been opened. The extra beads will also help compensate for seasonal changes and a less than perfect seal on your humidor. Please take necessary steps to create an air tight humidor....
1. Stabilize moisture levels in the humidor at the desired % RH before installing ARTSORB. Beads have been specifically engineered to provide a constant 70% humidity by lowering (absorbing) or raising (desorbtion) the humidity level of your humidor.....
2. Place ARTSORB in a stabilized humidor immediately after opening. ARTSORB will start absorption/desorbtion once the bag is opened. There is NO NEED to initially spritz the beads.....Do not place ARTSORB directly on your cigars.
3. When the humidity in your humidor has fallen below the preferred level it’s time to re-charge the beds. At this point they appear clear. Use only distilled water to recharge only a portion of the beads (approx. 75-90%). They will change to a milky white color when fully saturated.  Use of tap water or bottled water will degrade the beads and render them useless over time. Only use distilled water
HANDLING & PRECAUTIONS....
1. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN & PETS
2. In case of accidental spills, remove & dispose of loose ARTSORB at once....
3.. Seek medical attention in case ARTSORB is ingested or makes contact with eyes. Flush eyes with copious amounts of water....
4.. Use proper PPE (personal protective equipment) when handling ARTSORB....
5. Do not use ARTSORB for any other purpose than what manufacturer intended....
6. Do not eat ARTSORB. Keep from children & pets
7. Each half pound bag will humidify up to 5 cubic feet of space.
