References "Les Insignes du Train" by the French Army Historical Service, 1988, and "Insignes de l'Armée Française L'Indochine, Tome II" 1984. Unit reconstituted in 1943 in Morocco and served in Europe during WWII. Transferred to Indochina March or May 1947. Served in operations in Annam, Tonkin and Laos. Transferred to Algeria in December 1955.
Current French dealer retail price 75€ = for a badge in POOR CONDITION (see ad above). Not hallmarked, locally made, painted. Attachment pin intact, attached to the badge with a tube typical of many Indochinese locally made badges of this period. Genuine, not a restrike.
