Reference "Les Insignes De L'Armee Viet Namienne" by L'Association Symboles et Traditions, Paris, 1986,  no. 112.  TD = TIEU DOAN.  Created 1 April 1952 in Central Vietnam with personnel from the 2/21st Colonial Infantry Regiment.
Current French dealer retail price was 46€ = .  Hallmark removed.  You can see where the original Drago attachment pin with 2 pastilles was located; it was removed and the entire back was smoothed off.  My best guess is that this badge was modified to be glued onto a plaque (or something) as a reward or a souvenir.  There is a tiny enamel fault at the right end of the scroll.  Attachment pin missing (sans attache).   Genuine, not a restrike.
