Reference "Les Insignes De L'Armee Viet Namienne" by L'Association Symboles et Traditions, Paris, 1986,  no. 127.  TD = TIEU DOAN.  Created 1 February 1953 (South Vietnam), by the transfer of the 4th Bn, 13th DBLE (Foreign Legion Demi-Brigade), stationed at Trang Bang.  (Also listed in the Foreign Legion book of Symboles et Traditions, No. 296).
This is a much sought-after badge due to its Foreign Legion roots and symbolism.  It shows a regular legionnaire with the traditional white kepi (herein silver), and an indigenous legionnaire wearing a white beret (herein bronze/gold) (which was worn with a red ribbon and a green ribbon to indicate the foreign legion service).
Current French dealer retail price 150€ = 0, but note "rupture de stock" = sold out.  Hallmarked Drago Paris Nice Romainville, smooth back (dos lisse), 2 hallmarked pastilles.  Attachment pin intact.   Genuine, not a restrike.
