Astonishing accuracy and state-of-the-art anti-signal reflection / "multi-path" error eliminating technology (this technology was, up until this particular model arrived on the market, only available on commercial satellite compasses which cost well over ,000+!).
Provides heave/pitch/roll 3-axis speed data which eliminates zig-zag/distorted images in sonar, sounder, and radar systems. This data compensates for the erratic motion of ones own ship while at sea.
Note: Given this is a approved NMEA 2000 product, it is not only compatible with Furuno systems, but also with Simrad, Garmin, ComNav, Raymarine, JRC, Vesper Marine, TimeZero Pro, WASSP, Airmar, etc.
