This doll is Friend of Barbie, Rosie O’Donnell, from 1999. Mattel did a great job in the imaging of the famous actress, comedian, and television personality. Donations to The For All Kids Foundation, Inc were made by Mattel and the store selling these dolls when they were purchased. Rosie has short, straight black hair that flips just above her shoulders. Her complexion is very fair. She has brown eyes, and red parted lips. I have a nude version of this doll, so can say that Rosie has a twist-waist full figure. I have included pictures of that doll, but she is not included. Rosie has straight arms that can move back and forth against her body. Her legs can be popped into different positions. She has flat feet similar to feet popular on Mattel teens. The base of the back of her head has an imprint showing 1998 ~ Lucky Charms Ent; and 1998 Mattel Inc ~ China is on the small of her back. This doll is still new in the box, and she is wearing what appears to be a red pantsuit with a dark colored vest over a white pullover. She also wears a pair of faux pearl earrings and white shoes. The inside of the box has her standing in front of a shot of her stage area from her show. A similar picture is on the back. Along the side of the box is a note from Rosie to use the back of the package as her stage. Included is a booklet with activities, jokes, and talk show tips. There is also a hairbrush. The container is in nice condition. ~~ Hopefully the pictures do her justice. She may be ideal for that special OOAK doll someone is creating, or for a doll to play with for someone age three or older.
