Design theme - Patriotic with Red/White stripe trim
This 2 piece outfit is sewn for an adult doll collector. It may have s
mall parts that are not safe for children ie snaps, flowers etc.
The dress is in the style of a short sleeved dress. The dress is sewn from a patriotic red, white & blue themed fabric. The lined bodice is sewn from a sparkly fabric with blue & red stars on a white backgound. The sleeves are a contrasting white fabric edged with red/white stripe fabric band. There is a white collar and tricolor trim across the bodice.
The back of the dress has 3 snaps for closure which makes for an easier on/off dressing of your doll. The skirt is a sparkly design of red, white & blue cupcakes and then I added a band of the sleeve fabric trim at the hem & the bodice trim around the entire skirt.
The bloomers are made of white fabric and edged with the same sleeve edge fabric. It has elastic at the waist and knees.
I use a serger machine & regular stitch machine to sew the seams.
I seem to be at my sewing machine quite a bit as I love to sew. So please visit my eBay shop again as I will be listing more as I finish them.
