  • Condition: B-9-MOD Parka shows nice vintage appearance. Original fur hood has surface Fur of neck collar issue as photographed. "Center" back of Parka of green fabric has two dings and spotting to fabric. All stitching detail construction shows no issues. Front 21" zipper works well without any issues. Interior satin linning shows some slight overall fadding. Interior lable 3 1/4" X 3 3/4" is completely readable with veterans name, address & date in ink. Exterior original 5 large button front and 8 other medium buttons all work well, as intended. Cuffs are period original and show some fraing. B-9 Cap shows normal wear to brim of interior fabric. Bellow the sewn interior Lable has one ding to fabric. Throat takeup strap to Fur ear flaps has 4 large black button snaps "all" work well as intended. Overal these 12 photographs show the this Parka with cap details.

    Description

    A nice vintage circa WWII "lot" with this Auction ready for USPS Priority shipment.
    Condition review:
    B-9-MOD Military issue Parka in overall nice display condition. Interior quilted satin lining has nice aged condition with no major issues.
    Parka has attached real Fur hood linning. Back of neck area shows small area of missing nap of Fur as photographed: No.7  Nothing by display would show this area.
    All Parka stitching in strong construction with no inspection issues.
    Front Parka 21" long Crown marked zipper has "spring" function and works well without any issues.
    All large factory original large and medium green Buttons work well as intended.
    Parka has readable 3 1/4" X 3 3/4" factory printed lable with hand written I.D.:

    Cap front and ear flaps are of real Fur in nice condition.
    Throat tackup strap has four large black Snaps that work fine. One must always be very careful when unsnaping conditions.
