Menorah with Lions
Up for auction is an
Antique
Brass (or bronze, we do not know how to tell the difference)
Hanukkah Menorah
This has a cool design with twin lions,
and words that we cannot read (likely Hebrew?}
The Shamash is offset
The construction is brass and or bronze, and flat slotted screws inside the candle holders
(a magnet only works on the 2 slotted screws)
Measures about 5 ¼” wide x 3 ½” tall x 1 ¾”
Nice patina, this is used, we did not polish it, we leave the patina for you the user/collector to keep as is or polish it up.
This and another menorah that we are listing right now were from a friend’s Mom who had a kosher home, she would go ‘antique-ing’ back in the 60’s and picked up some amazing items, some of which were given to us to sell.
