* World War II 1 of 1 Item* Hidden piece of history found in a book

TRULY HISTORIC
THE REAL FOUND IN A BOOK ITEM!!
My wife's father passed away about 9 years ago at the age of 94 and when he did the property was being cleared out to be sold. He had quite a bit of medals and other WW2 items but they were stolen by "friends" of his before the funeral which was truly sad. We had taken some of my wife's childhood items & I had taken some stamps and some old books he had but nothing that would of been seen as a hiding place. The books were put up for about 3 or 4 years in my home office and upon moving I finally broke into reading some of the books. One book was an old aviation book and upon reading it, right before I put it back I felt something in the dust jacket. After about 10 mins of trying to get it out without damaging the book or item ( which I had no idea what it was at the time ) I found a old see through envelops that was used for his stamps with these in it. I immediately realized this was not mass produced and not a stamp it was a letterhead/stationary header stamp. My wife and her mother both confirmed he was in Germany towards the end of the war and that he had brought some items back, all his other items were on display but this was hidden from everyone.

Each one is 1 7/8in H x 2in W
As stated above one has a tear in the top left corner but as pictured above it hasn't damaged the image & the other one is in almost perfect condition & they are both still connected somehow.
If you have any questions or need more pictures let me know, It currently is in a trading card case that is screwed together so it doesn't get damaged. We have finally agreed its time to try and sell this item and utilize the funds to try and get some of the items that were stolen back as they have popped up for sale.
